After 40 years of traveling with a backpack this is the best design and best construction of any I have used before. Was looking for a carry on pack that would carry my camera gear, be waterproof, and be comfortable enough to use for day hikes. This does it all and has plenty of extra room for an extra layer, gloves, hats and accessories to support each day. Thank you so much.

Terrific bag. Exactly what I was looking for. Excellent, organized storage that doesn't infringe on another section when you load it up. Great water bottle retention. Luggage pass through is welcome. Very top storage pocket perfectly fits a .5 pouch, and a secure and ample space for tables and laptops. A home run!

CIVIC Travel Bag

I agonized over the decision of which backpack to buy for multiple months. I had been using a backpack that was primarily for photography gear which was cumbersome for my current use cases. As I looked to replace it, I was looking for backpack that was versatile enough for EDC or light business travel, an "end game" backpack. I was hesitant to pull the trigger given the Evergoods return policy. After a ton of online research, the CTB 26L looked like my ideal bag. I'm glad I decided to move forward. I'm just now incorporating it into my workflow, but I'm very happy with the fit and quality of the bag. I will update my review once I have the opportunity to use it for a while.

Is the CTB26 heavy? Yes it is, but I don't care, because when I put it on, it feels like a feather. The one suggestions for the Evergood teams is to learn from Able Carry. When you purchase one of their bags, the experience is top notch. Able Carry bags comes with a cover bag and their unboxing presentation make the experience unique. Apart from that, I'm really happy with the CTB26.

Side pockets really add to the carry capacity. Good for water bottles, umbrellas—anything you need quick access to or aren’t going to keep for long, e.g. submarine sandwich. Laptop pouch is excellent. Top compartment as well. Narrow enough to wear standing on subway. Comfortable worn on front moving through market. I vouch for it as a discrete and capable urban daily carry.

I was debating for so long on this bag. It turned out to be just what I needed. I currently have a 16" macbook pro and tried it with the 20L bag. That felt a little too small which made it hard to get my laptop in and out. I switched over to the 26L and it works perfectly as my EDC. I am pleasantly surprised by how comfortable this bag is and even in the midst of the summer heat seems to stay cooler on your back than any other bag I have had in the past. Would definitely recommend for any one looking for a good looking EDC.

The panel load feature convinced me to buy it, and it really enabled me to travel with a carry-on suitcase for a 2 week trip overseas. Once I started using it, the (brilliant) handle on the side and the luggage handle pass-through became huge favorite features. I also couldn't help being impressed with the seemingly simple addition of loops to grip at the base of the panel zipper every time I had to close the loaded pack. This is a great travel tool!

Got this bag for work and travel, 26l black. It's been a wonderful work bag with my laptop and assorted gear. It has been a joy from my older bike courier type bag I used to use. I really bought it to travel, have not had the opportunity to do so but will in near future. It is the perfect size for under plane seat and it holds a ton as I have seen from my work endeavors. I have a trip to Ireland and western US coming later in the summer, fall. In 6-9 months I'm retiring and will put this bag on a heavy travel schedule! Looking forward to it!

Loved this bag from the moment I got it. You can tell it's very well made with quality materials. There are tons of different pockets and areas to store a wide variety of items and you can feel confident that they will stay safe inside this bag. My two gripes with this bag are the bottle holders on either side, waaay too small. I don't think I own a water battle small enough to fit. They seem to be made solely for plastic water bottles. The other is the straps. They have an oddly rigid feel and the material is very slick which makes it easy for them to slip of your shoulder if you're carrying with just one strap. Overall still a great bag, I really wish the bottle holders were usable size so I could give this bag a glowing 5 star.

I'm a climber who works a desk job. That means my daily carry includes a laptop, notebook, chargers, tech, and whatever I'm bringing to the gym afterward. For years I was juggling two bags. The CTB26 ended that. The main compartment is deceptively cavernous. On climbing days, I've fit a 60m rope, harness, shoes, chalk bag, and a change of clothes — and still made it to the office in one bag. The clamshell opening is a huge part of why this works: you can pack intentionally in layers, not just shove things in and hope. The organizations in the front pocket and main compartment is where the bag earns its keep for daily use. Cables, chargers, passport, pens — each has a place, nothing migrates. I never have to excavate to find what I need. Furthermore, the molle webbing on the interior back panel. I've got my Leatherman mounted there with some cheap molle attachment — always accessible, never rattling around, and completely out of the way when the bag is open and near the back panel so it's weight doesn't drag down other front pockets to fold the bag. It's the kind of detail that shows EVERGOODS actually thinks about how people use their gear, not just how it looks on a product page. The one workflow I'm still refining: at my desk, I find myself reaching into the main compartment organiser just to grab a charging cable — which means unpacking more than I want to mid-workday. The CAP 2 would solve this perfectly. A dedicated desk caddy where I can stage my cables and chargers while I'm at the office, then consolidate everything back into the CTB26 when I leave. It's the missing piece in an otherwise complete system. Hope to get one of those! 420D nylon, YKK zippers throughout, water bottle pockets that hold a Nalgene without drooping. After months of abuse — office, public commutes and gym — nothing has budged. If your life doesn't fit neatly into one category, this bag gets it. 5/5 — for the people who refuse to carry two bags.

I love it so much I purchased the CTB26 in X-Pac for everyday use on the job. The design and materials are stellar. I cannot recommend these bags enough.

My husband and I bought this bag as a gender-neutral everyday baby carry: diaper bag; weekend trip baby bag; parent-child day bag; etc. We were deciding between it and the 22L Pakt, and some features on this bag that we absolutely adore are the flat open of a large main compartment (feels big even on the 20L), the two water bottle pockets (one for parent, one for baby; one for hot water, one for empty bottle, etc), and the ability to mix administrative/tech needs with life stuff (i.e. padded back laptop area keeps tech away from wet burp rags). But, it seems infinitely customizable, and all the while it looks sleek without being performatively stylish. We also love that this bag will grow up with our baby and with us. As we need a diaper bag less and less and just need a good pack, it will be durable and functional for many life stages--as well as aesthetically viable. I would be surprised if it lasted less than 10 years, but I will follow-up if it doesn't meet that expectation.

Made an 11 day business trip to Europe recently with the CTB 26. Traveled from Sweden to Venice. The organization and space in the CTB26 worked great for one bag travel. No issues on ITA or SAS with this as a carry on or fitting under the seat. Also, made chasing trains and subways a breeze. Definitely recommend the CTB for light travelers.

This has been a great bag so far! I bought this to act as a flexible option between edc and one bag travel. I’m a taller guy so imo, it doesn’t really look or feel that big for edc. Im a student so I’m trying to haul around a lot of books plus mobile tech work center. This bag easily fits it all and looks good while doing it. I do feel just a little bit of an edge to the bottom of the bag on my lower back but it doesn’t feel extreme. All the pockets on this bag really do have their own volume. Still not sure I’m overly sold on a side access laptop zipper but considering the innovative pocket they added at the top it feels like a fair trade off.
