This is really exciting!
The solution-dyeing process colors the raw material before it’s even made.  We’re adding colorant to the polymer solution that is used to create the yarn that the textile is woven from. Coloring the polymer on the front-end like this allows us to cut out the conventional piece-dyeing process on the back end, saving significant amounts of water and energy.
