I've been using this bag every day for a year and it is the best bag I've ever owned. The build quality is incredible and the design is thoughtful. One standout feature for me is the dual bottle holders inside. I use one for my large Yeti water bottle, and the other for a large thermos of coffee and it still fits my computer, lunch bag and all the other things I need to pack around.

I’ll start by saying I am a back pack person, so I originally bought the TB20 thinking I’d use it occasionally but not as my daily carry. I own 7 Evergoods bags. The TB20 is my favorite hands down. Airport travel? Huge win. It fits under seat, rigid enough to ride overhead standing up, and quick enough to grab important documents fast. The luggage pass through is fantastic. The handles on top are strong enough to support other bags latched on if needed. Mobile office also a win. The internal organization is flexible to accommodate larger items and finite enough to discreetly sort memory cards, adapters, mouse, etc…. And the suspended sleeve is voluminous enough to hold a tablet and laptop. And as a commuter bag it shines. As long as you’re mindful of the pack out the shoulder strap provides enough support for a typical commute. And the quick access is really against the standout feature. If they ever do a waxed olive version or some other special variant it will be an instant buy.

Love this thing! Looks so professional, but not stuffy at all. First my aesthetic more than many briefcase looking bags for the office, and love that it self-stands like a boss!! Some people say it is too big, but I beg to differ. I think if you want a smaller bag, go for something else, but if you need the room, this absolutely perfectly designed for the size. Using this bag for about a month now. Nice things about this bag: Stands upright on it own. Sits stable on the floor. Opens wide and stays open. Set in on the floor next to my desk and can easily see bag contents and move them in and out during the day. CAP 1 pouch fits next to the laptop sleeve easily. The handles don’t flop around. Grab them and you’re ready to go. Internal bottle holders are nice. Bottle in one, small pouch in the other.

Big fan of the carry overall, but ideal if the size was slightly smaller. Confused why a briefcase would be slightly larger than the CPL24? Another ding for the flaps securing the metal rods on either side stick out ever so slightly. So depending on how you reach into the bag, there is a slightly risk of rubbing your hand past the sharp corner of the Velcro stitched pieces.

I was looking for a new bag to fit my larger Lenovo Thinkpad when I came across the brief on YouTube. I had three different companies in consideration that claimed to fit a 17 inch laptop but before I purchased the brief I reached out to each customer service group to ask about the sizing on the laptop sleeve. I received a personalized response from Evergoods that really conveyed to me they actually took a few measurements to confirm my laptop would fit. The other two companies I'd contacted did return responses but were quite generic and really seemed to me like AI generated responses based on their advertised spec's. They did not give me enough confidence to pursue these bags further. I ordered the brief from Evergoods and confirmed my Lenovo Thinkpad fit quite well. The bag is a great overall size for my needs between work and using it for a personal item on flights. I also really like how it stands up on its own. I don't have to worry about propping it up against a table leg at meetings to keep it from falling over. I also appreciate how slicked up and smooth the bag is. It can tuck neatly into vehicles and the handles don't grab onto things when retrieving it. Overall I'm quite pleased with my purchase of the briefcase and hope to hang onto it for many years.

Had this briefcase for almost a year now and I love it. It fits all the CAP 0.5 , 1 and 2 perfectly, suspended laptop sleeve is great, the material just has a mesmerizing feel to it. The handles and the removable no frills shoulder strap are one of the things I like the most. Someone mentioned it doesn’t have a luggage pass through. What? It absolutely does have a luggage pass through! One of the outer pockets has a zipper on the underside of the pocket that you can open creating a luggage pass through. Wish I could get it in more colors I’d probably get all of them.

Think of this as more of an airplane personal item than a sleek business briefcase. Functionality wise there is a lot to like. Huge capacity, stands on it own, very protective laptop sleeve, internal water bottle pockets, enough admin organization, luggage pass-through. I don't carry that much for work and prefer backpacks for travel but I can see this as perfect for short business trips.

Given how specific this bag is, it is an ideal fit for my use case. I work between two different offices- I spend 8-10 hours at each on any given day, so I want a full portable office set up. I have a 15" MacBook, 16" external monitor, external keyboard, mouse, hard drive, AirPods and all accompanying power/chords. I also have a mousepad, glasses, keys, pen/pencil, checkbook, wallet. Everything fits comfortably, with room to spare.

I'm corporate pilot and I have been using this bag as my flight bag. It's meets all my needs. My Clarity Aloft headsets case fits perfectly inside along with my iPad, laptop, cables, book, flashlight, first aid, journal, pens, passport, inflatable pillow, etc. Great it has a pass through for my roller bag. Extremely comfortable to carry with the shoulder strap or by grab handles. Beautifully designed with sturdy materials. Also, I purchased the pouches to organize everything within the briefcase. Worth the price! LOVE IT!!

I’ve held off on writing my review in order to put my briefcase to work. In a number of online reviews of the product, there was a general opinion that somehow, a briefcase was supposed to act like a backpack or a shoulder bag. What I wanted was neither of those things. For myself, transporting my laptop, notebooks, and other tools for what I’ll call “office work”, an old fashioned briefcase was what I needed. After a few weeks use, I know I’ve found that solution in the Transit Briefcase. The design is simple and intelligent. Internal organization, most specifically the floating laptop sleeve, has been well thought out. The interior pockets on mine hold a 24 ounce water bottle on one side and the half-liter Civic Access Pouch on the other. The padding has me convinced I’d have to really work hard to damage any of the bags contents. I’d make the purchase again without hesitation and, if it were offered in Coyote Tan, buy a second one in a heartbeat.

From a functionality perspective, this bag is top notch. Perfect for my daily needs and thoughtfully designed. Fit and finish punches above its weight. However, the fabric is oddly prone to abrasions and scratches--after my first business trip with the TB20, it came back looking like it had been on the road for quite a while. I'm not particular hard on my gear so this was surprising.

I've been using the Evergoods TB20 for about four months now. It features thoughtful organization, stands on its own, and offers versatile storage options. I use it exclusively for office and work as a physician, where I don't need much tech gear. Instead of a laptop, I carry an iPad Pro and telehealth equipment in a CAP 2L, along with clinic tools like a stethoscope, reflex hammer, and my lunch bag. The TB20's main strengths include its dual grab handles, luggage pass-through (which doubles as paper storage), and ample space for tech and work essentials. The design—like a sideways backpack—makes it more accessible than traditional briefcases. After switching from the PLC 20L, I find the TB20 better suited for office life. I appreciate its shoulder strap and wide opening, and don't mind its slightly stiff, narrow profile. The only minor issues are its height (tight fit under airplane seats) and stubborn side buckles.

I love the ergonomic handles and how they feel in your hands. It is a smart design. It holds my typical loadout comfortably, although I wish it had a little more volume given its dimensions. It is bigger than I thought it would be. This bag would be perfect for a waxed canvas offering! It looks very professional and waxed canvas would make it looks even better. The mobile laptop compartment is innovative and helpful for fitting different loadouts. An area for improvement is that the strap could be thicker and more padded to improve comfort.

I bought this bag for a weird reason and I'm glad I did: I primarily wanted it to carry my CPAP machine when I travel so I don't have to carry the tell-tale bag it comes with. When I travel I usually carry my CTB35, and I was finding that the CPAP machine and its case took up about half the size of that bag so I'd also have to bring roller luggage to fit all my other stuff, (which I dislike). So I was wanted something that I could carry in tandem with the CTB35 - and this fits the bill perfectly. Not only does it fit all the CPAP hardware, but I can fit my CAP1 with toiletries, as well as a few other small items, inside. I can also fit a large hardcover book in the outer pocket and access it easily (i.e., I found the pocket and the opening large enough to easily slide the book in and get it back out). And with any bag like this I'm always concerned with how the shoulder strap would dig into my neck as I wore it cross-body, but once I found the right length the shoulder strap on this thing didn't dig at all. Finally, some might say it's a bit big for what it is, but for my uses it's a perfect size. Bottom line: with this and the CTB35 I can carry everything I need for a multi-day trip, haul a** through the airport while doing it, and not have to deal with baggage claim after a flight.

I've been using a tired old briefcase for years and I finally upgraded to the TB20 after purchasing all of the access pouches. I love how it opens like a Doctor's bag and stands up by itself. It's a perfect fit for my 14in and 16 in laptop along with my water bottle, CAP 0.5, CAP 1.0, and CAP 2.0 as well as a light jacket, beanie 2 glasses cases and a few other every-day odds and ends. finally the perfect briefcase... can stand up on it's own, can accommodate multiple laptops; I keep a CAP1 for chargers and CAP0.5 for my media kit in it, a notebook, laptop power bank, and water bottle. document folio, iPad pro 12.9, and MBP 16"; could put another MBP in there instead of the iPad 12.9, or accommodate all three by reducing the other kit. Perfect for a hefty work travel tech kit, which I need as an engineer who also brings a personal laptop on all travel
