CIVIC Access Sling 1L

This is my first purchase from Evergoods. If I’m being honest, I’d give this sling 8.5/10 stars. There’s so much that I like about this sling, and a few minor quirks that I hope would be addressed at a later revision. I’ve owned other slings before, from Louis Vuitton, to AER, Alpaka, and even Tomtoc. This is my favorite sling to date. What makes me love this is the materials, craftsmanship and thought about making this versatile and comfortable. It fits well either as a sling or waist pack. Despite what I like there are a few improvements that could be made. First, I love the size but wish it was slightly bigger. I think 1.5l would be the perfect size for me and 2l is already large by my standards. The layout is great, but I have minor issues with the zippered pocket area. It seems do be designed for AirPods Pro, but having a case on your AirPods make it impossible to fit; and if your sling is at max capacity, even without a case, it tends to slide out of its area. Also, I’m still not sure if I like the key leash; as it’s too long to have it dangle in the bag, but too short to have it stretch out to unlock doors with the keys attached. Yes, I can unclip my keys but that gets challenging with full hands. Instead, I think I’d prefer a small loop there, that way I can use my own carabiner or even a magnetic key release. Second, while there is an elastic band to hold the extra strap length, it still flaps away. I’ve added a Velcro backpack strap to combat this and it works perfectly. Third, it’s just my opinion but it’s missing something to hang this on, such as on a hook or to connect a carabiner. While I could clip a carabiner to the strap, it just doesn’t look right. Instead I’ve added a 1.5” Matte Black D-Ring next to one of the buckles. Now I can freely hang this on a hook (such as at a bar, on my key rack, or secure it to another bag) and even use it for additional strap management. As it stands, I’m very happy with this bag and use it everyday. If this was made with X-PAC material, I’d buy it again.

CIVIC Access Sling 1L

I purchased the Civic Access Sling 1L primarily for everyday carry, especially when traveling through airports or exploring a new city. I wanted something compact that would keep my essentials easily accessible without weighing me down. The size is perfect for carrying everything I need: my wallet, AirPods, sunglasses, a portable battery, and a few other small essentials. It keeps my pockets empty while still being lightweight and comfortable enough to wear all day.

CIVIC Access Sling 1L

Good little waist pack. The larger wallet I have won’t quite fit inside this one - well, it will but it’s hard to zip up. It’s small enough for a phone, maybe a small wallet, some keys. I’d use this one where I would use a very small waist pack, toss the phone and keys in there on a short walk. Or spare batteries for the cameras, if I’m not taking larger bags. Good to hold a few small items in an airport, and running errands. Single zip main pocket, not separate ones like some of the larger packs. The material is nice- I have the 2L and the 3.5L… wish the 3.5 had the same material. Buckles are basically the same as the other sizes. They’re not going to accidentally come loose - I really do not like some of the other brands with their fancy trick buckles. I want secure, positive fit. Strap is a nice quality, and adjustment is easy. Enough length for me. If I had to choose between this one and the 2L, I’d get the 2L - it definitely feels larger, but sits close enough to the body and has more room. IF you really don’t need the room ever, this one is nice because it’s so small you forget it’s there.

I have been in a search for the right sling and found it !!! The 1L civic access is it , my first edc sling and it’s I hit a home run great quality perfect size, few minor adjustments that could be made but over all it’s worth everysingle penny quality !! Is what you want you found it

I was looking for a way to carry a phone when I didn't have a shirt with a pocket. I was tired of phone dialing caused by pants pockets. I can carry the phone and a wallet to boot. I got more that I expected with this sling.

CIVIC Access Sling 1L

I don’t usually carry much on me, and this bag has been great for shoving all my pocket stuff in for concerts, long walks, wearing shorts I don’t wanna fill out etc. It holds my phone, keys, wallet, AirPods, hand sanitizer, sunglasses. I expect it will do this job well for many years to come.

This is a cool little pouch for me. Provides enough room for my 2 cell phones and my bottle of medication. There's still enough room if I needed to squeeze something else inside. I'm a big guy at 300 pounds and the strap is a little small for my roundness but I make it work. I would purchase this product again.

I used the 2L Access Sling last summer extensively for travel, and the 1L has proven to be just as worthy. Comfortable to wear as a crossbody, small enough to stash in a larger bag if needed, and easy access inside.

CIVIC Access Sling 1L

This is a legit fanny pack. I genuinely like it, and it’s the perfect size for carrying my phone, wallet, Field Notes notebook, pen, AirPods, handkerchief, and mints, so I’m not stuffing all of that into my pockets. I’ve gone through a lot of bags and fanny packs over the years. Most meet some of my needs, but it’s rare to find one that checks nearly every box. There are a couple of small things I’d change, but they’re nowhere near enough to knock off a star. For reference, I’m a pretty big guy (6’3”, 250 lbs.), so the strap is a little short for wearing it comfortably as a sling. For me, it works best as a waist pack. That said, I think this is more of a personal fit issue than a design flaw, and most people should have no problem wearing it as a sling. My only real suggestion would be to add a small loop or attachment point somewhere on the bag for a carabiner or HeroClip. It’s not a big deal since I can clip one to the strap, but it would be a nice addition in a future version. Overall, this is an excellent EDC and travel bag that keeps my essentials organized, secure, and easy to access. I’ve already taken it on a trip to Mexico, and it performed great. One feature I really appreciate is that I can grab the entire pouch and drop it straight into my 22L Half Zip or any other backpack without having to reorganize everything. That convenience alone has made it part of my daily carry. Great gear. Highly recommended.

This feels a nice niche as a small sling that's sized just right for carrying the things I usually keep in my pockets - personal and work mobile phones, AirPods, tissues, keys, etc. It's great that it's comfortable when worn either crossbody or as a fanny pack (the latter being my preference as a dad that's given up on trying to be cool!).

Got this for work related reasons. Project manager for an electrical contractor, frequently going to jobsites to open up electrical panels and devices. The quick access pocket is great for a cell phone (it can actually fit two, my work and personal). I like that it is a little easier to pull out take a photo of something and quickly throw back in (something I might have to do 50+ times). The back of pocket approach has resulted in a lot of unwanted pocket photos doing the same thing. Internal zip pocket I'm using for emergency cash, recipes, parking garage tickets. The main pocket is spacious enough to keep my bare essential tools. Bonus is it keeps them in one spot instead of them mindlessly wondering to all my other pockets for me to lose track of them. Great new edition to my EDC. Mines a bit heavy, 3LBs fully loaded with two cellphones and tools.
