BEHIND THE DESIGN
CAP0.5 is the latest and smallest addition to our Access Pouch series. It offers compact mobile organization in a versatile, protected, and access-forward package.
I purchased both 0.5L and 2L pouch, and this 0.5L is the best tech pouch I ever own. It is great to storage small parts, making it very easy to carry for daily EDC as well as travel use.
I purchased the Civic Access Pouch 0.5 for a trip where I was traveling with my Indigraph India ink fountain pen for the first time. Understand, my Indigraph pen holds 100% archival, indelible India ink. It leaks and that stain is there FOREVER. I got this pouch because of the waterproof inner pouch where I carry my two Indigraph pens. But I soon found the main pouch was just the right size for a clutch pencil, two Uniball pens, a Tombow monoeraser, a Pitt Dual marker, three Fluo highlighter pencils, my Apple Pencil, a white Signo pen, a small roll of washi tape, a syringe to fill my waterbrushes, and two refills for the Uniball pens. And it isn’t full yet. What I love especially about this bag is it isn’t too wide to carry horizontally in my drawing field bag, which is a must to keep my Indigraph ink flowing. And, maybe the best part, I can work from the bag without unpacking it because when unzipped it stays open. This little pouch is a marvel. I LOVE IT.
Love this striking blue color, this is being used as my office supply carry. This has my pens, pair of scissors, measuring tape, and a few highlighters.
Great Small Pouch! I had a bunch of small EDC and tech scattered throughout my backpack and this holds it all nicely! Fits perfectly in my backpacks water bottle holders. Now to find what I need, I just grab the pouch instead of searching through various compartments in my pack.
Deceptively spacious! Perfect for carrying my chargers, cables, AirPods, batteries...everything I need for edc and travel tech. Perfectly fits in the front pouch of my CTB20. Great product!
I travel a lot for work and try to take as little as possible. I think the. 5l travel pouch is the perfect tech pouch for a usb c travel power plug, adapters, and a few cables. I would not recommend if you need to take more than that in one pouch but it is perfect for me.
I picked up the CAP .5 in black to carry my Anker laptop power bank, and it’s a perfect fit. It keeps the power bank, charging cable, and a few small accessories and easily slips into the yoke pocket of my CTB26.
This tiny thing has been so versatile for so many things. I've used it as a dopp kit for short trips, art supplies for portrait drawing classes, and as an everyday carry item for pens, pencils, and whatnot. It's definitely small but mighty in terms of what you can pack into it.
Purchased for my son for his freshmen year of college to hold all his writing devices and odds and ends. Has helped him stay organized and prepared. Durable, appropriate size for use case, the blaze orange makes it easy to identify and grab from his Civic Travel Bag.
The design is excellent and really useful. The way the pockets can either disappear when not in use or hold a ton of stuff is amazing. Having options (one mesh to see into, one opaque) is wonderful. The (help me - gussets?) at the ends of the zipper run to create walls/edges to keep things contained are very welcome, especially as they are not floating as is so common in this sort of situation, but connected all the way down so things can't slip out at the bottom. I use this one (the first I've bought, but it might not be the last) as a nightstand tray, so it's open and holding stuff most of the time, just closed when I pack up to travel. It's amazing to have the same system (and the same stuff) for home and travel.
I've just discovered Evergoods (please forgive me for not shouting) after having ignored them for years based on the Reddit vibe, but then I watched Kevin's video about one of the products and went ooooOOOOOooooooohhhhh, and now I'm screwed. Stunning designs (by which I mean optimising for function and usability), beautifully and thoughtfully executed in fabrics and with workmanship that is also incredibly well designed and thought out. Everything they make answers the question "What problem do I have that this solves?".
Organization at it’s finest. I was lucky to have received 2 of these as a gift. It’s been a gift that I didn’t know I needed. I’m getting a lot of use out of both. I mainly use these to hold pens and electronic cables. These CAP .5 integrate well with my Evergoods backpack.
Some gear earns a recommendation. This earned a second purchase. The Civic Access Pouch 0.5L is compact, thoughtfully organized, and built with the attention to detail Evergoods is known for. The layout makes it easy to keep small essentials exactly where I expect them, and the size disappears into a backpack. Picked one up in orange, liked it enough to buy another in green. No regrets.
This has become my go-to "ouch pouch". I can fit so many items in this pouch DISCREETLY. It fits in most water bottle pockets, or the base of a sling. The shape seems to take more and more contents without distorting the zipper line. I appreciate the opposite direction zip lines. I'd love to see a run of red color for more first aid kits. 10/10.
The half CAP was Even more useful than I expected. It has plenty of space to keep long-shaped items, gives them 360-degree protection, and is small enough to fit in to tight spaces easily. It's great to stick in an exterior pocket for quick access to small items or in a water-bottle pocket for even easier access. I may have to get another in the future.
This is just the right size to fit my Ridge wallet, key fob, AirTag, Kershaw knife, and RovyVon Aura A7 flashlight. It’s pretty tight after that, but it still zips close easily. I also added a James Brand Hardin carabiner to give it more ways to hold.
I’m enjoying the xpac version of the cap0.5. It fits in my cpl16 in all sort of spots as well as in other bags’ bottle holders. This particular one accompanies me to work as a pencil box, but could just as easily be used as a small tech pouch or airplane pouch.
I’m so glad I went ahead and got this pouch! I was worried I wouldn’t know what to put in it but it fits everything I need quick access to. I love that it fits perfectly in a water bottle holder and how flat it opens. I fit my charger, AirPods, medications, EpiPen, and I’m sure it could fit more. Don’t be unreasonable with what it can hold, it is just 0.5 L after all. Love it!
Found it very useful for carrying EDC or pens and electronic gears such as USB C cords, a charger and some pens. It was so useful that I made the choice to get a 2nd one so I wouldnt need to keep switching what I keep in them. Yes it’s pricier than others but I consider this a luxury item that meets my use.
While the cap.5 is a quality piece!! Trying to find use for it has been a stretch. But I’m sure the right need will arise and until it do, Im going to keep trying to make it fit
