Coming Soon | CIVIC Bookbag 22L
Hey there,
Last year we set off on a mission to build a new backpack form for our Griffin 2 collection. To achieve the heritage tone for Griffin, we became inspired by vintage bookbag silhouettes from the 90s and early 2000s.
eBay orders of various nostalgic styles landed in Bozeman. We talked about why they were appealing, what could be improved upon today, and how we could add our own design approach to this iconic form.
Thus, CIVIC Bookbag 22L was born.
Our intention was never to release CB22 outside of the Griffin collection. However, when building early samples, we created one from our custom-made 840D nylon. Something about the blend of modern features and textiles mixed with the nostalgic bookbag form made us ask... "Should we release this?"
The answer was a resounding yes.
We readied the tech pack and waited for the Griffin form to launch. Once the Griffin CB22 was released and sold out within days, we hit the green light on the version that's being released tomorrow: a CIVIC Bookbag 22L built with all of our signature features, access, and ergonomics and in our beautiful and durable 840D nylon.
We are proud to present it to you tomorrow at 8am MST on our site.
