It's late and your 15 hour flight and 7 hour car ride up to the Cordilleras ends. You do have to walk a bit still, and even at this hour, there is traffic. Before, we got these, I would literally pull out a reflective belt and drape it over my kid. Now the three of us can sport these on our bags, plus headlamps, of course. That may be unrealistic for most travel, but even in a less remote place, you need to be seen in the dark.

I didn’t intend to purchase patches for my EG pack, but within days the Velcro started to collect dog hair and everything else. So, I came back to EG and found the $18 price for a pack of 3 (2 of which I do not need) and looked elsewhere online to no avail. I did not want (but now have) a blue patch on my pack. And I did see the individual $10 glow patch, which in no way fits the aesthetic or purpose of my bag. At the very least, please offer patches that align with the color of the gear. Better yet, throw one in with the purchase of the gear so no one has to pull lint and dust, fabric and thread, and dog hair off of the velcro with in days of purchasing new gear.

I have the Neon set. I used to get hit by cars all the time while crossing the street. Now I have these on my EG bags, and I also wave my CAP1 and CAP2 with them on towards incoming traffic. I have not been hit ever since I bought these. Hooray!

I've been using these patches for the last few weeks and had people ask about the patches and item they were attached to! The funny thing is these patches weren't made for marketing purposes! I appreciate that the brand itself offers patches. It can be hard finding the exact size elsewhere. Shoutout to Alpinhound for selling some nice alternatives. That being said the only one that’s reflective in this pack is the grey one. I wish the other two colors were, but they’re still easy enough to see if there’s at least a lil bit of light in a dark environment.
