Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.5 / 5 from 14 reviews.

Easily the thinnest minimalist wallet out there. I'm just now getting it stocked and seeing how it feels after living with it for a few days. Off the bat, it's a little tight, but I've been needing to assess how many cards I carry anyway. I want to get credit cards in and out a little more easily than is now the case, but we'll see. Very promising. Glad to have it.

Layout is superb, lightweight and RFID protected. Very discreet and fits perfect.

I was skeptical, but intrigued by these modern material wallets. I’ve tried a few out and they seem to fall apart after a year or 2 or start to look gross. But this little guy has held up to about a year of daily use and looks basically the same as when I got it. Granted I’m not throwing it off a mountain but the best designed products are the ones you forget about, which I can say for this wallet. It works for my needs as I only carry 4 cards and some cash. It’s super thin, futuristic looking and have gotten a couple compliments on it. It’s an interesting wallet in form and function that is doing something unique but may not be everyone’s flavor. TLDR it’s a good wallet and I recommend trying.

Right off the bat, I'll say that I can't recommend this for everyone. However, I had been searching for the absolute thinnest wallet I could have while still carrying cash, and this fit the bill(s). The original price was a bit outrageous, but the current price is much better, though I can see why people would argue that it's still too high. That said, I've had mine for a little less than a year, and I'm impressed at how well it's held up. I was skeptical about the material long-term, and at this point I'm not worried about it wearing down any time soon. I've comfortably fit 6 cards with 15 bills, but I wouldn't go more cards than that. Note that heavier cards (metals) are more likely to slide out if they aren't snug in the pocket with other cards, but they won't actually fall out unless it's fully open. There also isn't any RFID protection if that's a dealbreaker, but truthfully, I don't know how necessary that is. It's not the cheapest or sexiest wallet in the world, but it was exactly what I was looking for.

Not worth the money

This is my favorite wallet I've ever used. It's extremely slim and sturdy but can still store a lot. The bifold form factor makes it very practical. The material and feel are better than any wallet I've tried. Note: I've seen some people complain about it staying open or not lying flat. This may happen at first (I think mostly when you use fresh bills) but goes away once you keep it in your pocket for a bit. It's definitely worth it!

Customer photo review of ELEMENT Bifold Wallet

I do enjoy minimal wallets that are small and disappear in pants, but I hate having to fold up my bills a bunch of times. Full disclosure: I got this both because I’m an Evergoods fan, and I wanted a more traditional wallet that can carry cash well and hold a few cards. I carry a handful of bills, currently 6 but sometimes more and 5 cards. It all fits well and the wallet stays incredibly slim. It also fits in the security pockets of all my Evergoods bags which is pretty sweet. I think the biggest con here is that drawing your cards may not be the most mindless experience. You definitely trade that for easier bill storage and draw. I love it, but for others the Element Card Wallet might be a better fit if you usually just carry a few cards or don’t want a bifold design. All in all, was worth the asking price.

Customer photo review of ELEMENT Bifold Wallet

I now have six solid months of everyday carry with the Element Bifold and it is surpassing my initial impression of what I assumed the product practicality and quality would be. The fabric out of the packaging felt thin and crispy and I worried that would break down after the countless, rigorous trips being brushed against rough canvas work pants as it makes its way in and out of my front pocket. This could not be farther from the truth. The fabric still has the crispness of when new which protects cards and keeps bills neat and tidy. Having read a dozen or so reviews elsewhere online there was gripe from some folks about the size of the slot designed to hold paper money being too large for U.S. dollars. I live in the U.S. and find the bill pocket excellently sized for American money and appreciate the ability to place foreign currency inside when those travel opportunities present themselves. I keep three cards on each half and this is about maxed out. If you wished to add a fourth it would fit but getting one in and out would be more difficult than I wish to deal with. There is room inside the bill pocket for paper money as well as a few business cards and I have managed to slide a "pocket card tripod" that I use for setting up my phone for timed portraits. The photos I've taken aren't gussied up at all and simply show the minimal wear and tear of the item after months of use. When the wallet is less full it keeps straighter lines along the edges and the wallet closes fully. I have my comfortably stuffed and some bowing of the edges is visible. I recommend this product for the organized individual who doesn't need to carry a wide range of items and has their carry dialed to within its capabilities. Its thoughtfully designed and methodically built.

Crazy thin though maybe too minimalist. I bought both the card wallet and the bifold and prefer the card wallet because magnets and a storage pouch.

I purchased this when it first came out and it's lived in my front pocket ever since. I use it to hold 8 cards. There are plenty of bifold wallets, but I find a lot of the time that it's difficult to handle cash because the pockets are usually fairly restrictive. Evergoods' cash pocket is my favorite — it opens so wide that it’s easy to rifle through cash quickly. I bought a second in the event the first ever wears out, which tells you how much I like the darn thing.

Good

Excellent!

Nice and mininal design. Have been using it as my prinary wallet. Coukd be a little smaller for just US Bills but I understand the design rationale. Well done Evergoods.

Awesome lightweight and minimalist wallet. Quality made of quality material.
