CIVIC Access Pouch 2L - X-Pac

Love the X-PAC material but the PU coated zipper just gets constantly stuck. Had to return the product. Would love X-PAC without the PU coated zipper.

Loved my first CAP 2 in black nylon. Decided to grab one in xpac black. Unfortunately the zipper continues to get caught in the inner lined fabric basically making it unusable. Very disappointing.

Love the CAP2 so much I bought a second one! This time in X-pac Coyote. The idea behind this pouch was a quick way to store a bunch of portable/mini tools to work on things around the house, or to bring along roadtrips or any time I know I will need my tools, but don't need my actual toolbox, power tools, mechanic socket set, etc. X-pac is perfect keeps the outside nice, clean, and durable.

The X-PAC CAP2 is fantastic. The lay-open desk caddy design makes this something I use at home, something I display when I take it to a coffee shop or a temp office, and something that packs perfectly into bags from Evergoods and other companies. It’s really great. I love the interior liner color in this one. In these pictures, it’s holding my EDC pack out: laptop power bank, GAN charger, retractable USB-C cable, USB-C to HDMI adapter, full-sized scissors, ruler, pens, post it notes, stamps, stapler, wipes, and even a Lochby notebook holder (which holds multiple thin notebooks inside it). All this fits comfortably and the materials are sturdy enough that I never doubt the construction of the pouch for a second. While I generally prefer the excellent standard 210D, 420D, and 840D nylons that Evergoods uses, this is one pouch where the X-PAC makes a lot of sense: it’s already a pretty sturdy and structured design so the rigidity of the material doesn’t impact anything negatively; and the extra X-PAC waterproofness gives good peace of mind if you’re using this as a tech pouch or dopp kit. You can’t go wrong with their standard materials, but the X-PAC is a good fit here. Nice internal pocketing and liners, as well.

Using as my Dopp kit which keeps everything nice and tight. Love its footprint which makes it perfect to even perch on a bathroom windowsill if you're staying in a tight space.

Wish I had gotten this sooner! It's the perfect pouch for just about anything. I use it as a toiletry bag when I travel and as an electronics organizer during the workweek. It's versatile, well-made, and keeps everything neatly organized. Definitely one of those items you don't realize you need until you have it!

EVERGOODS has the best quality products, hands down. This CAP 2.0 in X-Pac is a superior product. I bought the set of the X-Pac black with Coyote Brown interior. The CAP 2L has plenty of space. I decided to use this as my "juice" storage, with all the cables and chargers I need on the go, but it could be used for practically anything. The fact that it stands up is a bonus. The material is super durable, and this look is very premium. I think it will last me a long time. Thanks!

This little pouch packs so much more than I expected. The zipper takes a bit of getting used to because the "front" becomes the back once opened but it's an ingenious design and pairs perfectly with my CPL24.

A classc, in a more water resistant and stiff material. I enjoy how it gives some more structure, but the tradeoff is that there wont be much give if you stuff it. I think it would make a great toiletry, makeup, or drone kit

Fits a lot of needs, takes a beating and still looks good. Filled it with photo gear, extra batteries, wires, even slid the head of an LED lamp into it. I’ve used it for cables, pens, notebooks, etc. And recently on a road trip I stashed all my essentials into it. Takes some playing around to find your way into how it works best for you, but that was the appeal for me. It’s not dedicated for anything specific, but it fits a multitude of needs while maintaining a relatively small footprint. I snagged the X-PAC because its durability, water fastness and its easy to clean. 10/10

This tech pouch is pure genius. The way you access and display the contents of the CAP2.0 alone merits 5 stars. You can tell that its designers burned the candle at both ends on this one. I love the thoughtful, feature-packed layout of the main compartment. The outside zippered access to the top compartment is a bonus. The coyote brown interior is positively gorgeous. And the X-PAC material takes this pouch to the next level! If I could give this 10 stars, I would. Make more!!!

Love, love the CAP2L. For me the king of the tech pouch. Thoughtful design throughout and the desk caddy style is super convenient while the top zipper access for quick grabs such as cables or lip balm is indispensable. This is my go to tech pouch.

Evergoods CIVIC Access Pouch 2L X-PAC review This tech pouch is very thoughtfully designed and very well made. I’m a big fan of X-Pac fabric, so I was excited to get this. The pouch is smaller than I expected, so until I do a load-out of it, I’m not sure it will hold as much as, say, my Step22 Tenkile pouch does. I very much like all the features this pouch provides, including the key tether and outside access to the upper half of the clamshell. The flexible center divider in the main compartment will be very useful when packing my DJI Pocket 3 and Go 3S cameras and DJI Mics. The main zipper is quite sticky; I’m hoping its performance will improve with a little bit of use. Ultimately, I rate this pouch 4 stars, because at $99 (which is $30 more than I paid for my Step22 Tenkile), it is by far the priciest pouch I own.

It’s still dark in Utrecht when I zip open my backpack and that burnished-gold pouch glints back at me. The CAP2 isn’t just coloured like treasure; it feels like it too: a dense, foam-padded brick that lets nothing inside get bruised. Evergoods claims “360° padded protection and an adaptive interior,” and for once the brochure reads like real life chargers slide into elastic wings, cables coil into the centre bay, and a fountain pen settles above the mesh lid, all instantly visible when the clamshell yawns open.   Halfway to Deventer the train lurches, my coffee goes airborne, and I watch a brown wave slap straight onto the pouch. Panic lasts a heartbeat: I wipe the VX-coated nylon clean, unzip, and everything inside is bone-dry. That same evening, when the trip turns into an overnight, I dump the tech, drop in a toothbrush, tiny shampoo and even a travel razor—the layout flexes without complaint. Tomorrow it’ll ferry first-aid gear on a hike; next week it’ll be a mini camera cube. Wherever the day sends me, the CAP2 morphs to match. At roughly € 100 it stings the wallet, almost the price of a budget flight, but a month of Dutch rail rides, hotel sinks and yes, flying coffee, has left it spotless and stitch-perfect. It makes me feel like the “golden boy” every time I tug it free: organised, protected and just a little bit smug. For something I reach for daily, that turns out to be worth every euro.

I have dozens of tech pouches, this one is the most useful and coolest. It works like a portable desk caddy. Interior is so well thought out. I wish it had a flat zippered pocket on the outside for flat items. Still love it and use it for my EDC.

Another 5 star review for the CAP2. The design of this thing is just a masterpiece. Evergoods' Coyote color is as pretty as they come, so I love that on the interior. I use it as a camera cube. Bottom section: - Canon Mirrorless - a lens (fits in the large back slip pocket) - battery charger on the other side of the zipper divider - spare batteries in the small front slip pockets main section. zippered section: extra SD card and other small things i might need The movable center section with the zipper moves beautifully to make everything fit. In the cover/mesh section, I have a smaller video camera. My only gripe would be that the key leash/chain either doesn't need to be there or could be shorter. The thing that makes this guy special is how solid/nice it is to carry around and be set up where you are. Keys go somewhere else.
