JOB TITLE: Creative Content Producer
HOURS: Full-Time
LOCATION: Bozeman, Montana, USA
ROLE: The Creative Content Producer works on a team with the Marketing Director, Creative Strategist, and Co-founder to create and manage the production of EVERGOODS’ creative deliverables. As a rapidly growing small brand, the role of Creative Content Producer is multifaceted, with functions ranging from graphic design, video editing, freelance network management, location shoot scouting, studio shoot production, and photography. The CCP’s primary responsibility is the consistent deliverable of creative to support brand initiatives across web and paid media channels, and may also expand into packaging, print, or new modes as the brand requires. The Creative Content Producer must balance organization and creative skills, be willing to move quickly based on ever-changing business needs, and have real experience developing creative aimed at scaling digital-first businesses.
DUTIES: The Creative Content Producer will work tightly with the Marketing Director and Creative Strategist to review a variety of key inputs, which include a go-to-market calendar, creative budget, product assortment, brand identity, and business needs. Using these inputs, the Creative Strategist and Creative Content Producer will develop a strategic plan for needed creative deliverables, and upon approval from the Marketing Director, enact the plan.
The Creative Content Producer will be responsible for spearheading both the (1) development of creative deliverables individually and/or (2) managing the development of new creative via a freelance network.
If the deliverable is developed in-house, the Creative Content Producer will be responsible for the graphic design, video editing, photography, or videography output. This will require the CCP to excel at technical design, including asset output, creating visual branding, web design, and paid adverts. The CCP will also be responsible for managing their timeline, hitting deadlines, and working cross functionally to receive edits, feedback and improve each asset.
If the deliverable is developed via the freelance network, the Creative Content Producer will be responsible for the pre-production efforts. These efforts include hiring photography/videography talent, developing shoot decks, hiring models, contract management, prop acquisition, planning shot lists, and developing shoot itineraries. The Creative Content Producer will also often be required to attend photoshoots, which can occur in Bozeman or across the United States. On set, the CCP will be responsible for styling products, models, and shoot coordination. After the shoot, the Creative Content Producer will work with the creative talent to ensure edited deliverables meet timelines and standards of the brand.
Initially, the Creative Content Producer’s role will focus on supporting the needs of the marketing department, with their creative deliverable’s primary responsibility being ad creation. The Marketing Director will utilize the deliverables across web and social channels. As such, the ideal CCP has a general understanding of high performing creative for performance marketing channels such as META. As the brand scales, the focus will expand beyond the scope of the Marketing Department’s needs.
The Creative Content Producer’s key partner will be the Creative Strategist, who will be the conduit between the marketing and creative departments. The Creative Strategist will work to translate business needs and marketing objectives into creative projects, which will then be spearheaded by the Creative Content Producer.
The Creative Content Producer must have a broad understanding of all areas of acquisition for a small growing digital brand. He/She will seek creative and practical solutions that may stretch beyond the current scope of the role in order to drive the brand identity and expand the brand awareness and customer base of EVERGOODS. He/She must be able to develop effective and elegant solutions within the constraints and limitations of our current budget, brand vision, and brand values.
The Creative Content Producer will be organized and have strong project management skills in order to meet deadlines. He/She must effectively communicate ideas and be creative within the limitations of a small, growing brand. He/She must demonstrate proactive initiative and excel in navigating ambiguity.
