DUTIES: The Creative Content Producer will work tightly with the Marketing Director and Performance Marketing Manager to review a variety of key inputs, which include a go-to-market calendar, creative budget, product assortment, brand identity, and business needs. Using these inputs, the Creative Strategist will generate ideas for creative production for themselves and the Creative Content Producer to enact. These strategies will be employed for everything from new performance marketing creative for channels like META to product launch campaigns to seasonal programs. The weekly scope of the Creative Strategist will vary depending on the go-to-market calendar.

The primary objective of the Creative strategist is to identify high-converting collaterals and assets and develop them with the creative team. Data is the fuel for this pursuit. So, the Creative Strategist will meet often with the Performance Marketing Manager to discuss creative performance. To be successful in this role, the Creative Strategist must have an understanding of how creative assets and performance marketing interact, and be able to interpret channel data into actionable insights for future asset creation.

The Creative Strategist is an idea engine for EVERGOODS and will be looked to for consistent output of new, fresh concepts on how to bring our products, brand, and campaigns to life in a way that genuinely engages our community. Thus, a tight grasp on trends in DTC performance marketing and creative formats, especially within the everyday carry and outdoor industries is also paramount.
Deep product knowledge is critical to the success of the Creative Strategist. The Creative Strategist must understand what makes our design uniquely EVERGOODS, and then build a strategy for creative asset development to highlight those aspects across different media formats.

Beyond market trends, the Creative Strategist will work with the Marketing Director to develop an intimate understanding of the EVERGOODS’ community. The Creative Strategist will co-own the annual customer survey and any other customer research programs with the Marketing Director. He/She will also meet regularly to review new customer trends, demographics, purchasing habits, etc.

Using their firm grip on all data-forward elements, the Creative Strategist will build a plan for creative deliverables for any upcoming business need. The Creative Strategist is responsible for translating the business needs, deadlines, and creative vision into an actionable creative production plan for the Creative Content Producer. The Creative Content Producer will be responsible for the actual delivery of assets.

The Creative Strategist will sometimes be called upon to attend studio or location photoshoots, especially for larger campaigns or product launches to ensure the creative vision is seen through in tandem with the Creative Content Producer.
Initially, the Creative Strategist’s role will focus on supporting the needs of the marketing department, with their creative deliverable’s primary responsibility being ad creation.
