JOB TITLE: Performance Marketing Manager

ROLE: The Performance Marketing Manager works on a team with the Marketing Director and Co-founder to execute and scale EVERGOODS’ growth strategy via paid marketing channels. The Performance Marketing Manager is responsible for establishing and scaling the priority channels of Meta and Google with the primary goal of customer acquisition. The implemented acquisition strategy will address and balance the various inputs of product, features, brand values, inventory levels, seasonality, supply chain, cost, ad performance, and a go-to market calendar. This will require the Performance Marketing Manager to have real experience and understanding in all of these areas.
DUTIES: The Performance Marketing Manager will receive a go-to market calendar, budget, and growth goals from the Marketing Director. Using these inputs, the Performance Marketing Manager will create and implement an acquisition strategy within Meta and Google channels. In addition to strategy, the Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for the creation of any copywriting and graphic/digital design to support acquisition strategy.
Once the acquisition strategy is implemented, the Performance Marketing Manager will be responsible for the consistent analysis and reporting of channel performance to the Marketing Director. The reporting will balance the summization of raw data and the translation of data into actionable insights the marketing and product team can utilize.
The Performance Marketing Manager will initially focus on the channels of Meta and Google, but the scope of the role may expand into other channels in future years such as affiliate, influencers, Reddit, X (Twitter), Pinterest, TV (linear & CTV), Programmatic Display/Video, and Catalog/Print. The individual in this role will be tasked with the evaluation of expanding into potential new channel when needed.
The Performance Marketing Manager will also work directly with the Marketing & E-Commerce Director on contributing to related departmental tasks such as email marketing, SEO, content strategy, site merchandising. The role will also have the opportunity to contribute their channel’s insights into the future go-to market calendar with the Co-founder.
The Performance Marketing Manager must have a broad understanding and semi-mastery of all areas of acquisition strategy. He/She will seek creative and practical solutions that may stretch beyond the current scope of the role in order to expand the brand awareness and customer base of EVERGOODS. He/She must be able to develop effective and elegant solutions within the constraints and limitations of our current budget, brand vision, and brand values.
The Performance Marketing Manager will be organized and have strong project management skills in order to meet deadlines and keep the team up to speed with channel performance. He/She must effectively communicate ideas and be creative within the bounds of their owned channels. He/She must demonstrate proactive initiative and excel in navigating ambiguity.
